One Month Left

I'm on one week medical leave cause I just had my wisdom tooth surgery. Honestly, I rather be at work because right now, I can't eat all the good food. And to be doing this one month before the wedding is just not the right time! But I had no choice because my gum was swelling and infected so yeah, advisable to remove them immediately.

As you can see, one more month and what have I not done?

1) Shoes. I need two pairs of shoes. Haven't found my shoes yet! Can you believe it?!
2) Guestbook. I need to decorate my guestbook. Just a simple decoration will do.
3) Signages. I need signages for the reception area maybe and I've been procrastinating.

I have a longer list obviously but those things can wait. Like my DIY gift trays and tying of ribbons to the favours. And many other things!

The reason for DIY-ing the guestbook is because I engaged a vendor to manage the photo-taking of guests and the whole guestbook corner. But I don't really like the idea of having a guestbook with the usual "scrapbook decoration" where they paste decor paper and bling-bling on it although some are really nice. I just want something simpler. Like the ones below.

Maybe just  a picture of us in front and that's it. Then instead of the usual wishes, I want them to write something along the lines of these?

Advises, what love means, memories of the day, date night ideas. You know instead of the usual wishes people write, "Selamat Pengantin Baru" which I'm guilty of too. Cause seriously can't think of other things to write. :/

Moving on to other things. Zai met Bob from Bonito by Bob for his gift trays without me few days back on my wisdom tooth extraction day. I actually thought I could still talk after that, but I was so wrong. He ended up meeting Bob alone and finalised the design, yay! Zai wants his side of the wedding to be white and traditional so guess his gift trays theme?

White and batik. Haha can't wait to see his trays with the batik all. :D

By the way, should I have single seats or double seats at the pelamin? Just look at the chairs, not the decor.

And lastly, guess what? I accidentally invited the wrong person with the same name to the wedding. So silly!!! Okay anyway, one month left and how am I feeling. Not that great with my wisdom tooth surgery and the fact that things are going slow and not according to plan. And that on some days, I just want to pause everything. This is me with PMS talking. Haha.

    1. You plan to extract your wisdom teeth eh? Don't do near the wedding date k! At least 2 months before la then can enjoy the wedding and honeymoon. 1 month also can but risky.

    1. Ya! If not some people also don't know what to write. Then they'll just write the standard "Selamat Pengantin Baru". Haha boring kan.

  4. ive always love the idea of a double seat pelamin so i can feel comfortable and at ease and talk to the husband anytime i want to. kalau nk mengumpat senang. HAHA. rather than a single chair mcm awkward sorang-sorang.

    1. Hahaha betol! Sempat nak gossip eh. Cuma some individual chairs give the "grand" kinda feeling. Macam king and queen kinda chairs like that la. Macam je. Haha.

    1. Haha yeah! I think I'll be awkward on the pelamin no matter what kind of chair I sit on. Feels weird to have everyone's attention on me. But yeah probably lessen the awkwardness with loveseats. :D

  6. Loveseats are less awkward but I wouldn't have given up my 2 individual chairs! Heh. Because if I'm not talking to my hubby on the pelamin, there's less chance of anyone snapping an awkward photo of us. In fact, I have super minimum awkward photos of myself on my guests' phone cams and digicams, so happy. You increase your chances of having awkward photos when you're talking. And some guests very biadap. Tag your ugly photo on FB.
