Pretty obvious which is mine and which is his. Haha. And here's a sneak peek of my DIY trays which my Maid of Honour helped out with. I didn't think I could come up with this but I did! Also thanks to my MOH la. Hehe.
I am so thankful that I have one week of no work before the wedding to prepare things. At least I'm not running everywhere to get things done. I can take my time to run errands. And also relieved that I have another week of no work before the honeymoon. Which means I have another week to run errands for the honeymoon this time. Believe me, I am still not fully done with the honeymoon's to-do list haha. Like the insurance and booking of some attractions.
However, I will rush like mad on the actual day because the nikah, my side and his side will all happen on the same day. We chose this arrangement for convenience sake. Convenience in terms of everything done in the same day. No need to hire photographer for two days. No need to rent outfits for two days. No need to get two sets of bridesmaids and groomsmen outfit in case Zai also wants them to wear a "uniform" for his side.
But of course, it has its down side. Like, the rush for time and some guests will miss seeing us when we're at our partner's side of the wedding. I tried to eliminate this problem by stating in the card what time I'll be present at my reception. And these timings are only stated on my friends' card, not my parents' friends' card.
We didn't want a combine one because our parents prefer to have their own wedding reception for each side. And we think it's better to just agree with them than to argue and when things go wrong, they might blame us for doing a combine one.
I am also trying to mentally prepare myself for any negative comments or remarks that people will make at weddings. I hope I won't hear such things la but if it happens, I don't wanna be affected by such words on my wedding day. So I really hope everything goes on smoothly, that even if there is any hiccup, it'll be a minor one. :)
Also, one of my bridesmaids won't be around because last minute she has to fly off to somewhere for something. So I have one less bridesmaid now but it's okay. :(
And I need to be extremely nice to everyone now because I've been behaving like a bridezilla recently when things don't go my way, I am disappointed by my own behaviour. Hah.
Few more days left and I honestly feel the jitters already. Ironically, Zai is as calm as ever, not even nervous, in fact he is so excited right now he can't wait.
I am panicking that he's not even panicking?!
