This and That

I've been talking about the wedding for many months, then the honeymoon, and seldom on the house (or flat since it's barely a house). But I think this time, I really need to start thinking about the flat because I am getting the keys soon, like this year, like in a few months time. We will probably wait a while more before moving in, then we can save more but with the baby coming, maybe we will just move in right away. I didn't even go check how many more months we're left with exactly before we get the house. Nothing has been done on house renovation research I feel so clueless. And I have a feeling Zai and I will have conflicting ideas and tastes for the home so, I dread bringing up this topic up with him. Because I think we will end up quarreling on how to do up the house. =X

My incomplete block.
(Photo taken off from the estate's FB page.)

I'm thinking of something simple and neat. I hope I don't need a major renovation because I like the house to be simple (and nice) and then fill them up as the years go by and because I think I need to spend more on other things so I don't wanna spend much on renovation. I need to begin researching for ideas and contractors. I know there are some forums and magazines that I can take a look at but so far I've not done any of that because I'm just not in the mood yet. :/

By the way, I am excited to know the gender of baby so that I can shop for baby's stuff. Hahaha. I know, priorities all wrong again. There's a chance we might know baby's gender during the next appointment and I am so looking forward (to a girl especially but boy also I'm happy la)! :D You know, now that my waist has expanded, I can't fit into most of my pants anymore except for one or two and my trusted pair of Levi's which I bought during the days when I already grew slightly fatter.

Then Zai told me about Uniqlo's stretchable band pants and I bought a few of them at one go. The band at the waist is elastic, just like leggings but they don't look like leggings at all. I wear them to work and in fact they look like formal pants. They're the most comfortable pants I have right now because I don't have to suck in my tummy just to zip and button up my pants. And they're not even under the maternity section which means it's perfectly fine for non-preggies to wear this. So comfy I tell you! I'm gonna continue wearing this even after I give birth.

There's a non-functional button there just to make the pants look formal.

The line down the middle of the leg of the pants also make the pants look formal.

Okay la that's all for this time. Feel like vomiting. :/

*Update: I really vomited.

    1. Hahaha if not pregnant also suitable la cause its elastic at the waist and really comfy. No need to suck in tummy to zip and button pants up hahaha. The pants should be able to expand to the waist size and you won't feel tight at the waist cause the elastic band is thick and not those tight ones that give you marks after wearing. Lol. Promote eh.

  2. I LOOOOOVE UNIQLO PANTS! I think I have about 5 or 6 pairs :/

And tell me about it lah, I haven't done any proper research for home renovations, either. Too many things to read, too many choices to make, where do we even starttttt

    1. Haha fan of Uniqlo ni. Before pregnant I only have like 1 or 2 pants from Uniqlo. Now I have more because I need that kinda elastic band at the waist but still look quite formal but most places don't sell unless I buy maternity pants. :/

Ya la! I feel bad that we're not starting on the research yet but I feel overwhelmed by house reno research cause there are just too many things to look out for. Plus, I also need to consider my husband's taste and thoughts unlike the wedding cause I didn't have a combine one. :/
