Happy Shoot

So we finally had our photoshoot done! I don't know where to start. The whole thing was a roller coaster ride to me. Firstly, I scheduled my photoshoot this week because I am free from work during the weekdays and my photoshoot can only be done during weekdays.

So before the shoot, I tailored a dress to look like this dress I wanted, remember?

But I couldn't find the cloth I liked in mint green and I thought that mint green dress with greenery background won't make me stand out. So I chose my next favourite colour which is Tiffany blue. Which I then realised was not so Tiffany. But still, similar design with the above dress I wanted.

The dress turned out okay only. Two days before the shoot, I met up with two of my bridesmaids to get their outfits tailored. Later on we decided to walk around the area to look for my wedding shoes and a dress for me to wear for my Maid of Honour's wedding. Then I saw THE ONE. Hahaha I saw this one dress and I immediately fell in love with it.

After I got that dress, I decided to ditch my tailored dress and wear the new dress for the photoshoot but there was a problem. It was sleeveless and my parents are not open to me exposing too much of my armpits arms. Photoshoot in two days, how to salvage the situation?! Quickly went to Arab Street to look for cloth for the sleeves. Couldn't find cloth in the exact same shade and made do with a similar shade. So who's going to tailor the sleeves for me in one day now?!

Went to Far East Plaza express alteration and found out that I had to wait two weeks for it to be ready. Where got express like that?! By then most shops closed already and I decided to look for tailor the next day, which was just one day away from the photoshoot. After looking around, found a tailor who could do it in one day and at just $10! So happy I managed to find THE dress and even added sleeves to it one day before the shoot! Will show the full dress when the photos are ready!

Don't you think the tailor did a great job?

We did two outfits, casual and formal. We were supposed to do them in one day but it rained. :( So we had to postpone the formal shoot to the next day, which made me pay for the make-up services twice instead of just for one day. I wouldn't mind doing make-up myself for the casual shoot but by the time we knew it was going to rain, the make-up artist dolled me up ready, and that was for the casual shoot. :( Ho well. And I took her cause I wanted to try her make-up out since she'll be doing for my actual day. :)

On the first day we did casual and mostly indoor at a cafe. Our best friends also known as our Maid of Honour and Bestman accompanied us halfway and took a few behind the scenes shots.

Our photog who made us feel so at ease!
I felt bad he had to work with such lousy models like us haha.

Second day was formal outfit, we were late. :( And I had to drive in my wedding gown and big hair-do okay, just imagine the sight. I don't think we got as many photos as the first day but it's okay. Cause Zai managed to do his Superman shot and he was beyond happy. My make-up artist helped us take this photo with her phone.

Hello! Finally exposing our faces in the dark haha. Cause it was quite late already.

Can't wait for the photos from the photographer. :D

    1. Hopefully! Thank you! :D We only had that one superman pose in mind, in fact it was his last minute idea. The rest all were ideas from the photog himself. We just told him our preferred kind of locations and he recommended those places hehe.
